- Mood: Rejoicing in the Birth of My Savior
Thursday. Christmas. Temperature in the 70s here (it was actually very cold up until Christmas day!).
God With Us
Short post, biggest reflection I can ever make with such brevity.
"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."
Luke 2:11
Mary was told to name him Emmanuel. The name means "God with us." On this day two-thousand and eight years ago, our Savior was born.
Join me today in celebrating his birth. Give thanks and praise to the Lord and rejoice that God saw fit to walk this earth with us in human form as the only perfect and sinless person to ever exist. A sinless and perfect man who was falsely accused, wrongly judged, and brutally murdered so that we sinful humans could have eternal life.
He was the Way, the Truth, and the Life. You will not go to the Father unless you go through Him.
I love you, Jesus. Happy Birthday.
