God Answers Prayers
The Daily Bible Verse cannot be more clear.
"All things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
Matthew 21:22
Something else about the Daily Bible Verse for today. It's absolutely true.
I can't tell you how many times in my life as a believer I have prayed to God, sincerely, and it was answered, sometimes almost immediately. This is because God, though all knowing and ever-being, wants us as believers to acknowledge that he is the God of Gods, and that he can do anything. Think your problem is too big? Think that He doesn't have time for you? Think that your prayers will go or have gone unanswered?
Think again. God answers prayers in His own time and in His own way. It's like I always say, you have to have a mature relationship with God and Christ in order to hear them speaking to you. That includes answers to prayers. You have to know God to know his answers.
Most importantly, God wants to hear us tell him that we BELIEVE. And when you believe with all your heart that God exists, that he created you and everything around you, and that he gave his only Son to die for your sins, he LISTENS to you.
Meaning you can't pray empty prayers and expect them to be answered. My opinion? An empty prayer is one that is prayed only when a human is in trouble and is not really sincere or made in reverence to God. A true believer is always mindful of God and is always praying, through thick or thin. You can't just call on God when the going gets rough and expect Him to answer your prayers when you ignoring Him the rest of the time.
God knows your heart. He knows what your intentions are. You must pray for things in your life that will enable you to further glorify God and bring other believers into his fold. Those are the prayers that are answered.
So when you pray, you must BELIEVE and TRUST God if you want the prayer to even be heard, much less answered. I wrote this post today because a prayer I have been praying for a few months now was answered in a way that I cannot even begin to describe. I will just say that the Lord came and provided in a huge way to my family. And it occurred in a manner and through channels that were NOT coincidence and NOT by mistake.
GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS. I truly believe that with all my heart and soul. I just pray to God that he can provide me with the words to show jaded believers and non-believers alike that if they just open up their hearts and let God in, he will hear them.
And He will answer. Please, if you are a believer or if you are just learning about Christ, trust Him and believe in Him.
